Homocidal birds

The birds are organizing a revolt! Outside of our building today there is a malicious pack of miscreant crows darting about, cawing, and dive bombing people who wish to gain passage through their territory. They seem to be trying to protect some idiot crow that attempted to commit suicide this morning by crashing headlong into our building’s front window. The suicide didn’t come off, and the wounded bird just hopped around and (probably to save face) must have called out the bird regulars to maim or kill the makers of the dreaded window. No doubt he told the other birds that the window reached out and smacked him around, or something.
Anyway, I’m crossing my fingers and waiting for our building manager to get excited enough to call the police. Maybe we’ll get a standoff! That would certainly liven up the day.
