March 2005 search phrases

31 Mar 2005  in the early afternoon  Matt Winckler

And still they search! There were more search phrases than usual this month, but conversely a larger percentage of them were dull, boring, already covered in previous lists, or otherwise not worth making fun of. So it’s a short list this month. Alas!

i heard a fly buzz when i died commentary
Mine revolves around two major points: a) it’s a rotten poem, and b) find—–something worthwhile—-to read———that—doesn’t—use so many——ridiculous dashes!
grammatical problem
Indeed. I surmise, using my unmatched deductive powers, that yours revolve around providing insufficient information.
picture of burninated peasant
At last! Some ingenuity and originality! You may find a convenient picture of a burninating peasant at Peasant’s Quest. It’s animated and everything. I suggest taking a screenshot.
mormons in washington
Shameful, isn’t it? I don’t know why they let them in, personally.
romancing the stone shotgun
Now here is an interesting exhibit. It has, of course, been some time since I watched this horrible movie, but I especially recall the fantastic shotgun that whassisname carried around. It was a short barrel, for one thing. For another thing, it must have fired two dozen shots without reloading–and reloading only consisted of pushing one or two more cartridges into the magazine, after which it was good for another dozen shots or so.

And, wouldn’t you know it, I have discovered a fellow online who claims to own the very gun. You have to scroll down quite a bit on his poorly-designed page, but it is there. It’s even more ridiculous than I remembered.

…is currently free for the taking, detached car included. And today only, I will throw in a pile of styrofoam sheets at no additional charge! You haul, it’s yours!
things that annoy me
Bless us, here is a person actually needing to go out in search of new things to annoy him. Would that I were in so blissful a state that I needed other people to tell me what is annoying…
