growing, eating, and sleeping

Jaeger hit the sleeping-end of a growth spurt today. I know not by looking that he’s had a particularly rapid spurt, but by his habits: a week of sleeping no longer than 3 hours at night (and frequently 2), of never missing a 2-hour feeding during the day, and of short naps all day (15-30 minute naps between most feedings instead). Today, all that ended. Jaeger took one 2 hour nap after eating, ate, was awake for maybe 10 minutes, then took a 3 hour nap. He was awake after that for an hour and a half or so, then fell asleep in his swing and slept another 20-30 minutes, then was happy and awake for another 30 minutes, and is now eating again. I shall attempt to keep him awake for an hour or so, then perhaps tonight I shall get my first night of >5 hours of sleep.
