Introduction
My post about not finishing conversations was intended as an introduction to this introduction. When visiting with Elly, we attempted to discuss education methods (classical, home v. school, etc.), but were frequently interrupted by our small boys. The beauty of a blog is being able to finish a thought, think through a point before making it, save the work to draft to add to later, and proofread and refine your words. So, what I intend to do here is make a series of posts first on classical education and then on the respective pros and cons of homeschooling and day-schooling. I will post on various aspects of each in my normal space here, where we (not only Elly and I, but also anyone else!) can break pelennorfields’ comment record in discussion on each. As I go, I will transfer my postings to the new Education page, refining them based on even further thought and your input.
There, now I’ve committed to it, now I must do it. :) However, each post in this series will probably be 2 weeks apart, as I work it into mothering my boys, cleaning my house, and preparing for my class.

Sounds like a good idea – sorry I haven’t been online much recently! I’d love to hear your thoughts. :-)
