Laundry in cuplets
How does that laundry pile?
Let me count the ways:
A load left in the dryer
A foot of socks left in the hamper
A wet mess required a towel
Hans likes playing with a trowel
Jaegs can’t use a tissue
Snot, drool — achew!
Bananas down the neck
Leaky diapers – bleck
Mama’s shirt is a mess
Dirty hands do caress
Coffee spills, flour dusting
Ey! Some stains are crusting
How does the Mommy smile?
Only by God’s grace.

Yes, laundry day here as well. Went through all 6 of Judah’s training pants – this morning! I’ve had to change my pants twice due to various bodily discharges from both boys. Still, it’s a grand to be able to stay home with our little boys, no? :-)
Yes, indeed. I am in the midst of still moving laundry and folding clothes — My tally, by the end of the day, should be 4 full loads of just clothes, 1 load of towels and sheets, and 1 extra-full load of whites. Of course, that’s all because I didn’t do but the bare minimum last week and left most of that unfolded in the laundry room!
Almost done folding all the clothes, time to move the towels/sheets to the dryer and start the whites…and maybe snag a Diet Pepsi from the fridge. :)
Ahh yes. I tend to go more for a second cup of coffee myself. But mine are always high calorie because my subsequent cups (after my home made mocha in the morning) are all hot milk with instant and cholate mixed in. I’m trying to cut back on those, but I REALLY like them.
My kitchen table is covered with folded laundry! It never ends, so once I went back to work, I gave up the fight and quit trucking it upstairs and putting it away! Is it wrong that I actually have daydreams about someday being able to eat dinner at the table again? Elly, cofee is my vice too, I tried to quit when I was pregnant, but was drinking it again by my third trimester. Now, I can’t get up in the morning without my coffee. If that isn’t around, then I reach for my diet coke!
