I finally got around to weighing Jaeger. I realized he was probably stable enough to stand on the scale himself, so I had him do it.
The scale seemed to waver between 28 and 29 pounds as Jaeger stood there.
Hans is squarely 32 pounds.

Wow. That’s amazing that they can be so close in weight and have the age difference they do. Is one taking after Mom’s side and the other Dad’s side to create such a difference, or does Jaeger just really have a healthy appetite? If they are taking sides- who belongs to which?
Jaeger looks more Paulson than Hans, who is a 50/50 mix, I think. But both Matt and Geoff were large babies, so the potential is on both sides. :) Jaeger sometimes eats more than Hans, but he’s proportionately and consistantly large, not over-eating large. :) Jaeger never lost weight as a newborn, but had already gained almost a pound by his first week check-up. He’s just a big boy…but considering how both Matt and Geoff have turned out, I don’t think it has any bearing on his future figure. :)
I love my fat baby, but I do hope this next one stays small at least a little bit longer. :)
