Oh what a happy boy! Juday loves blueberries, too! Michael made a fruit salad Sunday evening for dinner and Judah first sorted out all of the berries into a pile and then ate them, leaving the oranges and bananas, as lesser fruit. Great-Grandpa Blueberries?
Matt’s Winckler grandparents grow blueberries, so we get lots in the summer and freeze them. Hans nicknamed them Grandpa and Grandma Blueberry after they gave him (by proxy of Matt’s mom) a winter coat the color of blueberries (it’s navy) and our explanation to him was that it was from “Grandma & Grandpa Winckler — the ones who give you blueberries” “Oh!” he responded, “Grandma Blueberry?” We related the story, “Grandma Blueberry” loved it and claimed it as her new name. :)
