Jaeger’s Vocabulary:
Mamamama (Mommy)
Yeah!
Boom/Doom (for hammers)
Awwhhgg (for guys and play-fighting)
Ow!
Bambaw (Grandpa/Papa/Grandma)
Nawnaw (Nana, banana)
Noo-noos (Noodles)
Yam (Yes, Ma’am)
Ar-oo, Ar-ah (polite asking for something)
Aaa! (Yes, please!)
Dis? Dis! (This? This!)

He will also emphatically shake his head yes or no, and he means what he says.
Jaeger speaks in sentences, but he just can’t get anyone to understand his polysyllables. Mommy usually can. By a complex means of syllablication, intonation, and gestures, Jaeger communicates with Mommy and, by answering her subsequent questions, they usually arrive at understanding fairly quickly. Jaeger generally understands her answers, as well, even though Mommy does not use Jaeger’s same speech patterns.
