My Silly Thing
I take as much pleasure and pride in the neat lines produced by my once-weekly vacuuming as our former neighbor of the pedicured lawn took in the neat lines of his tri-weekly mowing. Ah! Fleeting vanity!

When I actually have every article of clothing in the house freshly laundered. It’ s rare, but it’s a beautiful moment!
Good thing you excluded the coffee routine… I’ll have to give this one some thought.
I have one of those automatic gadget spray cleaners hanging from my shower head in the bathroom. I press the button every day and I love watching the little nozzle spray, in circular fashion, the entire shower and tub. I think to myself, “Now I need to get one of those robot vacume cleaner thingies to vacume my carpet automatically.” And then I think to myself, “Yeah that’d be way cool.” Then the spray nozzle stops and I think to myself again, “What a handy gadget I have in my shower.” And sadly, the experience ends.
