Today’s funny

Hans was put on notice: “You’re having a bad attitude, Johannes.” In response to which he put on his cheerful, sweet voice and said, “Not quite yet, Mommy, not quite yet.”

Is that equivalent to “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet”? Only time will tell, I suppose. Now he’s walking around saying as his mantra, “Hans happy now. Hans happy now. Hans happy now, Mommy. Sun up, Mommy” Translation: “I don’t want to be in trouble and I don’t want to take a nap.”

Well at least children know how to respond immediately to imminent danger! Adults might not change their attitude immediately so that no one will suspect gasp that they’ve graciously accepted rebuke!
