Writing, again!
A lady from our church called me early last week. Her son, K&K’s age, hates writing and it’s making other schoolwork difficult. She asked if I could help him at all in any way, promising compensation and insisting on my only doing it if it wouldn’t be too much for me. Well, Writing 1, as I’ve taught before, is the perfect thing for boys allergic to pencils and I’ve seen my share of that creature over the years. A 3-time-over-the-summer, weekly-email-assignments for him along with my younger brothers has turned into a class of 8! Our first of three classes was yesterday, and although I wasn’t as prepared as I could have been, it went off decently well. We’ll see how well it’ll work when the paragraphs start rolling into my inbox… :) Already 2 are awaiting my perusal.
