Yikes!

Wow, well, this lil one is #3 all right.

Even with Jaeger I didn’t move fully into maternity clothes until about 20 weeks. I remember because I was 19 or 20 weeks at Barb’s wedding, and I didn’t have to wear the maternity dress and I was only barely showing in the slightly larger and stretchy dress I got. Since it was black you can’t tell from the pictures at all that anything was different.

But I’m 8 weeks now. I have gained no weight, but my pants are tight. I’m going to have to move up in clothes by next week! At 6 weeks I felt my stomach rearranging itself and almost every day I feel at some point like I’m getting larger.

Ok, so I did just look up “symptoms of twins.” I would love to have identical twins. Fraternal twins is certainly an efficient way to get children, but I have loved watching my brothers’ unique relationship — the kind of thing only identicals would have. Yeah, anyway, it’s highly unlikely either way. I’ve been more tired and more sickish this time around, I felt pregnant and sick and tired and larger much sooner, but all of that is also symptoms of a third or further pregnancy as well.

Oh well. I guess I’m probably just going to be larger sooner for no good reason except a fallen body. :)

I completely concur, my friend. I too am growing sooner and and at a faster rate. I am assured by friends that it is completely normal as you have more pregnancies. My friend who is pregnant with #10 looks like she is ready to give birth at 18 weeks! I am not kidding. Just give in and put on the maternity clothes sooner. it allows for more oohing and ahhing over having another baby. :o)
