A little update

It’s been quiet around this blog lately, but it’s not been without cause. It just doesn’t seem right writing a blog post while laundry sits undone. Not that undone laundry is so unusual around here. But the reason the laundry and the blog posts are left untended has been because I graduated a month and a half ago from coordinator of the food for our church’s Women’s Retreat to full-blown co-coordinator of the whole shebang when our original coordinator suddenly withdrew.

I leave today with my mom and $200 of breakfast food at 1pm to go up to the Bozarth Mansion in Spokane for the weekend, returning Sunday evening.

So, I think my retreat responsibilities are all tied up and now I’m using my last few hours to tend some of that laundry and wash the dishes — oh yeah, and pack. And change a stinky diaper.

Better get to that stinky diaper. :)
