An Update

It’s time for another photo update of the house, I know.
The lack of posting is because the kitchen is functioning, we unpacked all our boxes, and got the entire main level and the downstairs (functioning) bathroom presentable for a birthday party on Saturday for Jaeger and I. Twenty-five people, all family, and they all had a place to comfortably sit and eat on the main level! It was a nice party.
The end of last week through Sunday was the hottest so far this year. We made it to the mid-nineties every day and to 100 on Sunday. And — drum roll! — our AC does work and did not need to be serviced at all! WooHoo!
Then we had a wonderful summer storm last night with thunder and lighting and rain all night and through this morning. All our windows are open and the smell is lovely. I am going to seize the opportunity of a cool day and try my hand at making pita bread. :)

Yes, Sunday was hot here, too… then yesterday it was cloudy and cooler, and today it’s raining! I started my sourdough breads last night and one is baking as I write! :-)
