So it’s a day of ripping off other people’s links to YouTube videos. Cindy linked to this video produced by Pyromaniacs: a montage of “inspirational” posters with captions satirizing the emergent/postmodern church movement. No, I don’t hardly know what that is, but the posters are hilarious. :)

My favorites were

“Incarnational Living” - What would Jesus do? I’m pretty sure he’d do the kind of stuff *I* think is cool.

“Relevance” - Tell me what I want to hear or else shut up and go away.

“Hermeneutics” - A thoroughly modern power tool used by fundamentalists to marginalize disenfranchised people groups and post-evangelicals.

“Deconstruction” - What kind of freedom would it be if we couldn’t make the Bible mean what we want it to mean?

“Post-Critical” - I can’t hear you when you’re disagreeing with me.

“Unity” - If you won’t accept my new point of view, it’s pretty clear who the divisive one is.
