Calling Cards

They always make me think of Laura Ingalls…On the Banks of Plum Creek, maybe?

In a few places recently I have seen the idea of carrying a personal card — a “business” card with your personal information instead of business information — so you don’t have to give people your phone number or email address on scraps of receipts that have been in your purse for ages.

I have taken the occasion of a new address to create one for myself, thinking that perhaps it might come in handy. We’ll see.

Here it is, with most of the personal information removed:

I used OpenOffice, because I just wanted to get it done quickly and simply and print a full sheet. :)

    I like the idea! I too get into the problem of writing my number on wrappers or receipts. With our address changing in the next couple of months, I think I might try it as well. Thanks for the idea.
