Milestone
I had a 16-week appointment with a heartbeat.
That has been the milestone I have been awaiting.
If you count that I lost some weight in the first trimester and have now regained it and gotten back to “original,” you could say I haven’t gained any weight yet, too. That’s fairly incredible, considering my first two pregnancies. Of course, I also started out almost 10 pounds more than I did with Jaeger, so in absolute terms I am not ahead — well, I am ahead, I suppose, when I would rather be behind. :)
The next ultrasound is scheduled for August 8th; I can’t wait.
I am so glad for you that you heard the heartbeat. I know how wonderful those milestones are!
