My Kitchen

Friday  in mid-morning  Mystie

I didn’t take pictures soon enough. You don’t get to see the bare-bones subfloor that had cracks where you could see the mechanical/laundry room beneath. You don’t get to see the layer of sawdust from Matt’s sanding of the floors. You don’t get to see a motley collection of a few boxes and a slimy range pulled out from the wall.

You instead get to see the work in progress. The completely empty room with Matt’s layer of subfloor and underlayment nailed in place, all prepped for the tiles. Still, you will get an idea for what it’s like around here at this point.

It will be glorious when it is completed, but in the mean time you should see my living room.

2 vociferations follow:

  1. 30 minutes after the fact, Elly L. responded:

Again, wow. But tile floors? That will be lovely!

  2. * * * * *
1 hour, 28 minutes after the fact, Matt Winckler responded:

Yes. In fact, I only protest the fact that she did not post pictures of the lovely and completed commercial tile floor, which was done three days ago!

I suppose that doing so would evoke slightly less pity from the masses, and we wouldn’t want that.
