To Do Before Moving

Tuesday  in mid-afternoon  Mystie

We’ve been here for just over a year, with the anticipation of being here for 6 months, so there’s not nearly so much work to do before moving as there was moving from Park Hills to here. We didn’t hang any pictures, we didn’t unpack all the boxes, and I tried to keep the clutter down. Still, there’s stuff to sort through and too many projects under construction. What to throw away and what to pack? What to finish and what to move unfinished? For clarity of mind, I simply have to have a to-do list.

##To Do Before Moving

1. Sort through boy clothes. “Lend” bag, pack boxes, go through stuff from closet.

1. Sort through my clothes. “Maternity” box, “winter” box.

1. Matt: Sort through shirts. “Value Village” bag.

1. Value Village bags dropped off.

1. Return all library stuff & don’t check out anything more until moved.

1. Start & finish Friedrich’s scrapbook.

1. Sort & pack scrapbook stuff.

1. Sort through plastic drawer organizer.

1. Sort toys, put in correct containers, determine where each will go (up, main, down).

1. Sort through hall closet, purge, & pack like items together.

1. Sort & put away unfiled recipes.

1. Gather, sort, file, purge papers in office.

1. Organize blank paper (lined, printer, etc.).

1. Go through CDs and rip the music I don’t want to lose to iTunes.

1. Project: freezer cooking on hold; file stuff together and pack.

1. Project: future crochet & needlework projects; pack materials together & file patterns.

1. Project: school thinking & planning; sort, organize, decide what’s next to be done, make list, then pack away.

1. Project: gift giving planning; put it all on paper or on computer, wrap presents for March & April birthdays, sort box & pack away.
