Tuesday  in the early morning  Mystie

Have your children memorize Jamie Soles songs, Scripture, catechism, and the Apostle’s Creed and who knows what kind of dialog your children’s toys will have with one another!

The other day Jaeger was looking through St. George and the Dragon. He pointed to the picture of St. George “not quite dead” under the apple tree and asked what it was. I said that St. George was almost dead, but he would rise again and fight the dragon some more. He nodded solemnly and said, “Oh, yes. And judge the living and the dead.”

Last week at dinner one of the boys forked a broccoli spear, held it aloft, and proclaimed, “It is like a tree!” The other one picked up the line right away and responded, “Planted by streams of water!” Then they both broke down into hysterical laughter and now that’s the joke we hear three or four times every time broccoli is served.
