Call for Soups
I’m working on my menu-planning blog (yet to debut) tonight, with the goal of entering all the soups that I make this time of year.
Do you have a favorite standard soup? What is it?
My collection currently includes split pea, chicken & black bean, chicken & rice, ham bone & bean, beef & vegetable, beef stew, black bean chili, white chili, taco, potato, carrot & red pepper, and butternut squash.
Since I’ve made all but the pureed vegetable soups already this season — most twice — and we have at least 2 more months to go. So, if you can help me expand my repertoire, I would appreciate it greatly.



How about a chowder? I made a delicious corn chowder this week. And you know I’ll be making salmon chowder on the 24th.
ah, yes…I haven’t done any of those yet.
And I do hope there will be some left on the 25th!!
