Listening

What happens when an audio book is 29 CDs long:

“Here, Mom,” says Hans as he hands me a picture of a house with a string of letters above it, “It says, ‘Bleak House, part 2, by Charles Dickens, continued, disc 2.”

Sure enough, I could make out “Blee…Hus..prt…bi…D…con..” and several 2s strewn about.

But more amusing was that he said the phrase with exactly the same enunciation and pauses as the reader.

That’s pretty cute! And how do you like Bleak House? I’ve never read it.
