Phone Conversations
The boys are finally warming up to the art of conversing on the telephone, as they now get daily practice.
I, of course, only hear a one-sided version:
Jaeger: “And I was cheerful today! … And I said please and Hans said please. … And we played outside with Danny … We fought BUGS … Are you having fun at police school? … Have you shot any bad guys? … Oh … Have you driven a police car, though? … Does police school have windows? … Ok, good bye.”
Hans: “Yeah … And when I wanted water, I said, “Please may I have water?” … yeah … I’m glad you’re glad … Oh, yeah …. Well, I also did secret things …. Well, I just did a lot of boring things that were so boring I can’t even tell you what I did …”
And the most important bit of news the boys need to know each evening is what Dad had for dinner. :)
