Update

Wednesday  in the early evening  Mystie

Yay! It was not wishful thinking. Ilse has dropped, though she’s still not as low as she could be, and there’s been some slight cervical change. So, things look like I will keep up the tradition of lots of early labor to slowly but steadily progress and Ilse will probably arrive a few days late, but not too late. I just hope that Jaeger’s birth is repeatable and that once real labor kicks off, it’ll be off and over with quickly, unlike Hans’, which just dragged on and on and on and on and on.

Still, I am headed into the midwife’s office sometime tomorrow for a non-stress test because Ilse’s heart rate was low. Not scary-low, but just barely below the normal range. My midwife has been on the cautious side with me this pregnancy, so she wants to double check that the baby is fine.

But Ilse is kicking right now and I just had a contraction, so I’m not too concerned.
