Yes, so, that next Amusing Ourselves to Death open thread didn’t happen last Monday or yesterday, and really, don’t expect it until next Monday. :)
We’re moved! Yay! I love our new house and am having fun unpacking (much better than packing) and organizing a new place. Unfortunately, it still needs some cleaning up, too, as does our house still on the market — that house much more than this. So, my afternoons — my whole days — are full of real chores this week, with no time for reading and thinking. :)

Hope you’re beginning to feel settled in…. that’s hard to do with a new home and small children. We’ve lived in our home for 21+ years now, but we moved here when we had two toddlers and a newborn. It was years before I began to feel organized
