In the car, on the way to the library:
Hans: Mom, where are we going again? Mom: The library. Hans: When you say ‘library,’ I think of lies. But I’m not sure why I have that feeling.
When Matt told the boys he bought a pickup truck:
Hans: And can five people fit inside? Dad: Yes, but it would be a tight fit. Jaeger: Well, I would ride with the dog! Because dogs do ride in trucks. You put a round thing on a leash and it goes around them to keep them safe, and I would ride with the dog in the truck. I would just hold on to the dog and not even fall out! Dogs do ride in trucks and I could ride with them.
