School Can Wait was one of the books that helped us to decide to home school our children. Another was when we discovered that our oldest son was totally bored with kindergarten and had stopped doing anything. We home schooled him through 8th grade. We will be getting his Masters degree next month. We appreciate the Moores and what they have done.

Mystie,

Thank you for the report on this book. I disagree with most of the reasons the author gives for not sending your kids to school, although I have seen the benefits of home schooling. I home school my boys and have not had any problems with their development. It is interesting how early generations viewed the concept and how it all got started.
