Sunday School Songs

Jaeger has taken to going around singing “Oh Be Careful Little Eyes,” and he’ll do the first verse just fine:

Oh be careful little eyes
what you see
Oh be careful little eyes
what you see
For the Father up above
is looking down in love
So be careful little eyes
what you see

Oh be careful little feet
where you go…
etc.

But then he makes up his own verses. Of course, I assume the verses that make no sense are the ones Jaeger made up.

Oh be careful little
cocoa what you chacha
Oh be careful little
cocoa what you chacha
For the Father up above
is looking down in love
So be careful little
chacha what you cocoa

Then this morning there was a new one:

Oh be careful little bag
what you hold…
etc.

However, he also sings some verses I’m thinking came from maybe an 8-year-old boy, not Jaeger:

Oh be careful little nose
what you snort
Oh be careful little nose
what you snort
For the Father up above
is looking down in love
So be careful little nose
what you snort

Of course, this snorting verse is Jaeger’s favorite, and he’ll change it up with “how you snort” and “where you snort,” but “what you snort” is a little disturbing. :)
