Visually Pleasing

My sister spent her quiet, laid-back childhood teaching herself to draw, and has become a bona fide self-taught artist — despite a skeptical, critical older sister [cough].

And, despite my bossy, opinionated childhood interference with her pursuits, my sister yet deigned to do this for me:

My clipboards, the backbone of my latest and best system, are now aesthetically pleasing and useful, instead of being merely utilitarian. They make me happy on the inside whenever I pick one up.

Red is my calendar clipboard, purple is for my management lists, green is for the current project, and blue is for reading notes.

They are regular plywood clipboards, with 2 coats of acrylic paint, then the design, then 3 layers of spray matte sealant.

Thanks, Lanie. You’ve come a long way since Sailor Moon (and I hope this post somewhat makes up for that little incident). :)

They are lovely and I would like to buy some for myself and for others. Would she consider selling painted clipboards?

    Sooooo pretty!

I’m with Julie: is she selling them?
