weight check
I had Ilse step on the scale this morning (yes, after I myself did, but we’re not talking about that). She weighs 24 pounds at almost 19 months.
Jaeger, for perspective, weighed in at 20 pounds at 6 months.
I looked it up, and this puts her right smack at 50th percentile. She is my first baby to be able to wear 12-18m at 18m. I had planned on 2T clothes for this fall/winter, but that might not work out! She is, however, a Winckler. Her height is in her legs. Jaeger was a size smaller in pants than in shirts. Ilse can still fit into 12m onesies, but can wear 18m & 24m pants and shorts. So, perhaps for the fall she’ll be wearing her long-sleeve dresses from this last winter and spring as shirts over her 2T jeans. :)
