Not even tiny
Tuesday
in mid-afternoon
Mystie
I happened upon a stray box of baby things in the garage this afternoon. I smiled as I pulled out a pair of baby jeans from the stack of baby jeans. “Ahh, newborn jeans!”
They were size 6 months.
And the box was mostly diapers leftover from Ilse’s move up in size. Excellent! I won’t have to buy any diapers before the baby comes, now!
Except it turns out they are size 2. It sure looks like they are small enough. Experience reminds me that these will look gigantic once the baby actually arrives.
Ok, maybe I am ready to pull out the boxes of baby clothes after all. But first I have to clear out Ilse’s closet and Matt has to set up the toddler bed for her. So, I settle back to procrastination mode.
Plenty of time.

Just as a surprise to look forward to…I am planning on giving you 5-6 homemade, cute burpcloths. It’s “the thing” I give now for new babies. I can’t help you with the sorting. I have a garage full of clothing to sort.
Oh, yay! Thank you, Julie! As you can see on the sidebar, I was looking at homemade burpcloths today, knowing that there was no way I’d actually get around to attempting anything. :) Besides, my sewing skills are practically non-existent. :)
Instead of sorting or working in Ilse’s room (or doing laundry or dishes or…), I started and am now halfway through a novel. Sigh.
