How fun! It might be nice to have a play date sometime. We have only been in the Tri-Cities about a year and a half, we moved from the coast of CA, and are planting a church. I still don't know many like-minded people here, and it would be nice to meet some. I have a 7 year old daughter, a 5 year old son, 2 year old twin girls, and this boy who will be here any day. We live over by the library in Kennewick. Well, let me know! Reading your blog has been so fun because of similar circumstances in our homeschooling adventure, and then to find out you live in the same place was so funny!

Well, I spent 2 hours yesterday morning browsing Amazon and making various book lists for second grade. It felt good for the soul. :)

Today needs to be a little better. I have a sink full of dishes to wash!

We had a lazy day today. They are good for the soul, or at least I keep telling myself that. I hope you are feeling better!

Oh, how I hate waking up with a headache. Just starts the whole day off on a sour note. At least it sounds as though you were able to keep your kids comfortably and productively occupied. Here's hoping that after a calm morning, you've regained some energy and ability to cope (and that your headache has disappeared)! Thank the Lord His mercies are new every morning.
