Review: Certain Women, by Madeleine L’Engle
Certain Women by Madeleine L’Engle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
MCL. Elly’s book club read it, so I checked it out, too.
I give it 3, because once I realized what she was trying to do, I was certain it would be a 2. However, I think she pulled off what she intended. If I could, I’d give it a 2 1/2.
It’s a good choice for an entertainment novel and a fascinating glimpse of a Christian perspective that does not hold the Scripture to be inerrant.

I generally like L’Engle and expected this book to be much better than it was. Have you read any of the Crosswicks Journals? Or A Two-Part invention?
No, this was my first L’Engle, actually. I’ll put those on my to-read list; I did think she was a pretty good writer.
