Yes, Still

Due +8.

Last night I had 4 hours of what seemed to be serious business, but 15 minutes before the time at which I said we would call the midwife, the length between contractions increased and the strength decreased. I have had contractions all night, but nothing that prevented me from sleeping (albeit fitfully) or functioning.

So, here we are. Still.

And if we are still in this predicament tomorrow, my midwife will be here doing a non-stress test and discussing options for getting the show on the road.

Ohh. I’m sorry. :-( No pregnancy lasts forever – it just seems like it will. I’m praying for you! God Bless.

:( Hang in there. 8 days overdue was my 2nd fastest :) (But it is definitely harder when you expect to have the baby soon after your due date!)

Tried to call you today, but your phone number didn’t work. DO you have a new one? Any news from the midwife this morning? Give me a call if you can tonight! Sorry you are overdue… waiting, waiting. I am ready now, but nothing much is happening here either! talk to you soon! Praying for you!
