A Deal!
I haven’t reviewed it yet, but I loved this little book! It is so encouraging and practical, focusing almost entirely on mama keeping her own attitude “organized.”
These were the quotes I pulled out when I read it:
As you deal with your children, deal with yourself always and first. This is what it looks like and feels like to walk with God as a mother.
The state of your heart is the state of your home.
Sin is just a fact of life. It is the way we deal with it that changes ours.
Treat sins that your children struggle with like basic math. Practice, practice, and you’ll get it!
The chapters are short, and the humor is contagious. Rachel does not take herself seriously and is honest but humorous about her own situations. This isn’t a child-rearing book so much as an encouragement to mothers of young children to dive in and love where you are.
